Manny Adhana — full name Manvinder Singh Adhana — is an Indian-Australian author, ultramarathon runner, and operator-turned-investor based in Melbourne, Australia. His public work centres on documenting his 22-year personal transformation, his decade as a fitness business operator, and his current pivot into industrial property investment and AI infrastructure for small business. Adhana was born in India and migrated to Australia as an international student. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from the Institute of Technology and Science (ITS), Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, where he was part of the first BCA cohort (1998-2001). He returned to ITS in September 2018 as an invited alumni keynote speaker. After completing his studies and migrating to Melbourne, Adhana built a career in information technology. During this period he gained 40 kilograms, reaching 110kg. He subsequently lost the weight over approximately two years through structured training and nutrition changes — a transformation he documented in his 2017 book "The New You: 10 proven strategies for weight loss and better health." The book was officially launched in Melbourne by the Hon. Heidi Victoria, former Victorian Minister. In 2016, Adhana exited his IT career and founded Keystone Fitness Club in Upper Ferntree Gully. Over the following decade he expanded the brand to four locations: Upper Ferntree Gully (2016), Craigieburn (2017), Ghaziabad, India (franchise, 2018), and Truganina (2025). In March 2026 the operator chapter closed with the sale of the Truganina location. Adhana's endurance running career began in his early forties. His finisher credentials include the Auckland Marathon (2015, first full marathon), the Brooks Half-Marathon (2015), the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon (2024, 42.2km from 5,364m altitude — the "world's highest marathon"), the Comrades Marathon (2025, 89km, South Africa — the "world's toughest ultramarathon"), the Ballarat Marathon PR (4:45:46), the Bravehearts 777 Marathon, the Maroondah Dam Trail Marathon, and multiple Victorian trail ultras. He is currently training for the Surf Coast Trail Marathon (20 June 2026). In 2017, Adhana was featured twice on SBS Hindi national broadcasts — the English-language episode "Manny Singh left his IT job to become a Fitness Entrepreneur" (24 April 2017) and the Hindi-language episode "Indian international student turned fitness guru" (21 July 2017). In December 2023 he was recognised in the Top 100 South Asian Innovation Business Leaders — Victoria, with the ceremony at the Park Hyatt Melbourne and a profile in Innovation Magazine. Since exiting the fitness sector, Adhana has focused on three areas: industrial property investment via Fairmont Property Group; AI receptionist technology for trades, gyms and real estate via HelloReception; and angel investing and mentoring of early-stage founders, with a focus on Australian industrial property, health-tech, AI automation, and endurance brands. He is 47, a father of three, and speaks English and Hindi. Public inquiries reach him at mannyadhana.com.
